History :

   Paul Archer took over the club in November 2005 and renamed it Solihull Amateur Boxing Club. Since Paul took it over Solihull ABC has had five Midland champions. Paul Archer boxed for The 1ST Batalion Irish guards and Hobsmoat ABC in the early Eighties retiring in 1987 having had over 70 amateur contests at welter weight/ Middle weight and light Heavy. The club has had good success with boxers reaching the semi finals in the nationals.The club enters The NACYP'S and The Junior ABA'S as well as the Golden Gloves and The Golden belt every year. The club hopes to travell to America this year with the boxing squad.
